The FERMANT 600 Compact V2A wash-down film-sealing device is fully protected against projected water and dust – ideal for packing under special conditions. The bag-sealing device is used in the food industry for example for packing fruit and vegetables and transporting natural sausage skins.

Compatible with foodstuffs, rustproof and versatile
Fruit is cleaned in an extremely moist environment. Individual packaging items and bags are frequently used during preparation. This film-sealing device is able to demonstrate its strengths particularly under this kind of adverse conditions. Owing to its high protection class, based on IP 54, the device is suitable for sealing bags in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, foodstuffs or chemicals that place special demands on products or product environments. This may involve brine in processing natural sausage skins, but also whey powder, fertilisers or colour pigments. The FERMANT device is manufactured from stainless steel throughout and is therefore rustproof. The device therefore complies with the hygienic requirements and is compatible with foodstuffs. It is even suitable for use in a clean room. In contrast to automated solutions, the FERMANT devices offer substantially more flexibility and mobility at a fraction of the investment costs.

The film-sealing device convinces by its customary joke quality. It consistently maintains the contact pressure at the desired value. All the sealing parameters can be infinitely adjusted and are readily reproducible by the digital controller. The FERMANT 600 wash-down is controlled by a foot switch and an item counter is incorporated. It is available with a sealing length of 600 mm and is capable of sealing bags with a large projection. The bags can be easily introduced owing to the large bar aperture (65 mm).
